How to report a breach in the whistleblower zone
Persons who become aware of breaches occurring during work or while carrying out tasks on behalf of PPUH POMAROL S.A., in its name or interest, should report them immediately, providing known facts, events, and circumstances. These persons must act in good faith and base their reports on rational factual elements.
Reports are made in a public or confidential way. The report should be documented and described in detail to enable investigation of the reported facts.
The persons competent to receive and analyze reports are those assigned to handle them, following the Procedure for Receiving Breaches and Follow-up actions.
How to report breaches?

It is important that reports include the following elements, if known to the Whistleblower:
- A detailed description of the facts that occurred;
- The date and place where the incident occurred;
- Personal data and roles of the involved persons or any elements that may enable their identification;
- Reference to any documents that may confirm the validity of the reported facts;
Within a week of receiving the report, information about the case review will be sent, if the Whistleblower has left contact information.
Who can be a Whistleblower?
1. an employee, even if the employment relationship has already ended,
2. a person applying for employment, who obtained information about a violation of law during the recruitment process or contract negotiations,
3. a person performing work on a basis other than employment relationship, including a civil law contract,
4. a self-employed person,
5. any persons working under the supervision and direction of contractors, subcontractors and suppliers, including under a civil law contract,
6. an intern or trainee,
7. a volunteer.
What can be reported?
Violations of law or unlawful omissions or actions aimed at circumventing the law, in the following areas:
1) public procurement;
2) financial services, products and markets;
3) prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing;
4) product safety and compliance;
5) transport safety;
6) protection of the environment;
7) radiation protection and nuclear safety;
8) food and feed safety;
9) animal health and welfare;
10) public health;
11) consumer protection;
12) protection of privacy and personal data;
13) security of network and information systems;
14) financial interests of the European Union;
15) internal market of the European Union, including competition rules, state aid rules and corporate taxation.
Reports may also concern activities aimed at concealing any of the above violations.
Protection of the reporting persons
PPUH POMAROL S.A. guarantees the confidentiality of the reports and the data contained therein, as well as the anonymity of the Whistleblower, who sends the notification – even if the report turns out to be unfounded. Any threats, retaliatory actions, sanctions or discriminatory behavior against the Whistleblower will not be tolerated. PPUH POMAROL S.A. reserves the right to take the necessary action against persons who applies or threatens to apply retaliatory actions against Whistleblower. If the Whistleblower voluntarily provides personal data, it is processed in accordance with the personal data protection policy of PPUH POMAROL S.A.
The data of persons mentioned in the reports will be processed within the framework of their existing legal relationships with PPUH POMAROL S.A., in particular, to assess whether there are grounds for termination of the contract, or application of other sanctions, appropriate for the given legal relationship.
